Silver River Day Trip

Enjoy a kayak adventure along one of central Florida's most bio-diverse rivers. Rhesus monkeys, alligators, otters, turtles, and a wide variety of bird life, can be seen in the Silver River, and on the cypress lined banks. The day trip begins at 9 a.m. when we meet at Ray Wayside State Park. Our guides will prepare a lunch and snack bag for you before we begin our adventure. We will paddle down a 200 yard channel, to the Silver River, providing ample time to familiarize yourself with the kayak. Then begin our 5 mile journey up the slow moving, 2-3 mile/hour river. Our paddle to the head springs will take roughly 3-4 hours, depending on wildlife viewing and rest stops. Upon reaching the beginning of the river, we wil paddle over a dozen head springs which contribute to the largest artesian spring in the word, pumping out over 5oo million gallons per day. Our return will be quicker, and much more relaxed, as we’re carried down stream by the current. The entire adventure should take between 6 and 7 hours.

Spear Fishing Day Trip

We will begin our spearfishing adventure in Clearwater, where we’ll meet at the docks to prepare for our first of two dives. Depending on the weather and divers experience, the captain will choose our appropriate first dive from one of over 2000 dive sites. Divers will spend approximately 30-45 minutes per dive, hunting grouper, snapper, hogfish, Lobster, cobia, and many other possibilities. Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided. After 2 dives, we’ll head back to the docks for trophy photographs and fish filleting.
